Tooting Bec Common Mondays 10am and Thursdays 10am

Liz Stuart: I set up Powerpramming in November 2004 after I had my first son Ezra. I am now lucky to have another son, Otis, who was born in February 2007. I studied for my qualifications in exercise with the YMCA and take the safety of new mums very seriously. I like you to get the most from your workout but do not want to make anyone do anything they do not want to do!

Helen Maguire: Following the birth of my son Colm, now aged 18 months I was keen to get my figure back to normal and get fit again. I saw Liz's classes as an ideal opportunity to do this, combining fitness with being outside and socialising with other mum's. Prior to the birth of Colm, I was in the Army and have always been keen on fitness. Subsequently I decided to retrain as a fitness instructor specializing in post and ante natal fitness. I recognize that following birth getting back into fitness can be quite daunting which is why all mum's of any fitness standard are welcome. Everyone will be able to work at their own pace in the knowledge that they are exercising safely.

Joanne Newbould : I started Powerpramming classes when my daughter Olivia-Rae was 3 months old and loved the way I could exercise with her, in the open air and meet other mums at the same time. So much so, that I was inspired to train as a fitness Instructor, (qualified in ante and post natal fitness) to teach my own class.  Hopefully I can now help make getting back into shape an enjoyable and sociable experience for other mum’s in my area.

Tess Swann: Shortly after the birth of my first son Gabriel, I realized that working 9-5 was not going to work for me. So being keen on fitness and general wellbeing myself, I decided it made perfect sense to change direction and train as a personal trainer. I also added a qualification in ante/post natal fitness to enable me to get out into the fresh air and teach Powerpramming! I really feel it is the ideal solution for getting mums back into exercise and feeling healthy without the stress of childcare.
